Privacy Policy

This policy explains what OlilO 2ndBrain ("OlilO") collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

1. What We Collect

Account data (if you sign in with Google): your name, email address, and profile picture, used to identify you and apply your daily limits.
Chat content: the questions you ask and the answers generated, stored to power session history and shared sessions.
Anonymous identifiers: a cookie-based anonymous ID used to enforce daily rate limits without an account.
Usage metadata: timestamps, KB selection, and basic request logs for operation and abuse prevention.

2. Cookies

We use first-party cookies: olilo_session (keeps you signed in, 30 days), olilo_anon_id (anonymous rate-limit identity, 1 year), and oauth_state (one-time OAuth security token, 10 minutes). No third-party advertising cookies are used.

3. How We Use Data

To operate the chat service and enforce fair-use limits.
To store session history so you can revisit past conversations.
To serve sessions you mark as public to other visitors and LLM crawlers (see Terms §3).
To improve answer quality and detect abuse.

4. What We Share

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your identity with third parties except: (a) sessions you voluntarily make public; (b) service providers (e.g. hosting, AI model APIs) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; (c) where required by law.

Note: messages sent to public sessions are stored on infrastructure operated by our AI service providers and may be processed by those providers under their own policies.

5. Retention

Sessions are retained until you delete them (delete is available via the session list). Public sessions may remain indexed after deletion until search-engine caches refresh. Usage counters reset daily (HKT).

6. Your Rights

You may delete sessions at any time, sign out, or stop using the service. For access or deletion requests beyond the product UI, contact us through the OlilO feedback channel.

7. Children

OlilO is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
